Man remains in 'serious' condition following collision on M6 near Stoke-on-Trent

A man in his 40s remains in a "serious but stable condition" in hospital following a collision on the M6 near Stoke-on-Trent this week. 

At around 11.40am on Monday 12 February, there was a collision on the southbound carriageway between junctions 15 and 16 involving a silver Ford Transit van, a red Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Ford Puma.

The driver and passengers of the Vauxhall Corsa were taken to hospital by paramedics.

The driver of the Corsa, a man in his 40s, remains in a serious condition in hospital (West Midlands Ambulance Service).

A woman and a child, from the Corsa, also suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.

Staffordshire Police say: "We're keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those with dashcam footage of the area at the time.
