'Extensive search' carried out after shop windows smashed along Tunstall's High Street

A number of shop windows have been smashed along High Street, Tunstall (Nub News).

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after the windows of a number of shops in Tunstall were smashed.

Police were first called to High Street at around 11pm on Monday 26 February following reports that a man was smashing shop windows.

He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black bucket hat. His face was covered with a white towel. 

Police say they have carried out an extensive area search following the incidents (Staffordshire Police).

Staffordshire Police say: "We carried out an extensive area search, but no suspects were located.

"Since then, we have been speaking to the owners of the respective businesses and obtaining CCTV footage.
