'Extensive search' carried out after shop windows smashed along Tunstall's High Street

A number of shop windows have been smashed along High Street, Tunstall (Nub News).

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after the windows of a number of shops in Tunstall were smashed.

Police were first called to High Street at around 11pm on Monday 26 February following reports that a man was smashing shop windows.

He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black bucket hat. His face was covered with a white towel. 

Police say they have carried out an extensive area search following the incidents (Staffordshire Police).

Staffordshire Police say: "We carried out an extensive area search, but no suspects were located.

"Since then, we have been speaking to the owners of the respective businesses and obtaining CCTV footage.

"If you saw what happened or if you have any CCTV footage or information that could help us, please get in touch. You can call us on 101, quoting incident 773 of 24 February or message us using Live Chat on our website."
