bod cafe bars, owned by Burslem-based Titanic Brewery, donated over £400 to a local charity following a popular winter drinks scheme.

The popular venues pledged to donate 50p to The Gingerbread Centre for every gingerbread latte sold across their eight cafe bars.

Established in 1977, The Gingerbread Centre provides 24 hour supported accommodation for homeless lone parent families across North Staffordshire.

Head of Marketing, David Glenwright, told Stoke Nub News: "The Winter Drinks at our bod Café bars were a great success, and the Gingerbread latte was far and away the best seller!

"As a result, we will be donating over £420 to The Gingerbread Centre.

"This is on top of the many many generous donations of toys, arts, crafts and other activities that our customers and staff donated over Christmas, and were delivered to the Gingerbread Centre just before Christmas Day to ensure that everyone had something to open."
