Man fatally injured in 'tragic accident' outside Stoke-on-Trent warehouse

A man suffered serious injuries and died whilst working outside Tile Mountain warehouse, Stoke-on-Trent, on Monday (27 March).

Paramedics were called to Canal Lane, Tunstall at around 8.45am.

Managing Director of Tile Warehouse, Jeremy Harris, said: "We are deeply saddened by the tragic accident involving an external contractor - we send our deepest sympathies to their family."

An investigation into his death has been launched by the force along with the city council and the Health and Safety Executive.

An investigation has been launched into the incident (Google).

Mr Harris added: "The safety and well-being of our employees and contractors are our first priority.

"We have no further details at this time but we are working closely with investigators as they review the incident."
