Man charged with drug offences after large cannabis grow found in Stoke-on-Trent property

A man has been charged with drug offences after police found a large cannabis grow in a property off Hamil Road, Burslem on Monday (15 May).

Police found around 400 plants and arrested a 22-year-old man at the scene.

Hajri Metollari, aged 22, of no-fixed-address, has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and production of cannabis. 

Police were called to Hamil Road, Burslem, on Monday 15 May (Google).

He appeared before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday (16 May) where he was remanded in custody ahead of a further court appearance due at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 19 June.
