Man charged with attempted murder following stabbing in Hanley

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire Police were called to Lichfield Street in Hanley at around 12pm on 16 May after paramedics found a man with stab wounds on the street.

He was taken to hospital and remains in a stable condition. His injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening.

Lloyd Braford, aged 41, will appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 18 May (Nub News).

Lloyd Braford, aged 41, from Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested and has since been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife in a public place.

He is due to appear before North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (18 May).
