Man charged with attempted murder following assault in Stoke-on-Trent
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called to a home in Smallthorne yesterday morning (6 July) after a woman was assaulted by a man.
Jack Robert Walters, 30, from Smallthorne, was arrested and has since been charged with attempted murder and threats to kill.
He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (8 July).
