32-year-old man charged following sexual assaults in Shelton and Fenton

A man has been charged with a number of sexual offences in Stoke-on-Trent.

On Sunday (25 June), a woman was followed by a man in Shelton who then lifted up her clothing.

On the same day, a woman also saw a man who had entered the grounds of a private property.

Two days before (23 June), another woman was followed by a man in Fenton.

Dean Walmsley has been charged with a total of nine different offences (Nub News).

Dean Walmsley, 32, of no fixed address, was arrested and has since been charged with sexual assault, observing a person doing a private act, outraging public decency, breaching a sexual harm order, supplying false information with a notification requirement, possession of cannabis, using threatening behaviour to cause distress and two counts of failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements.

He appeared in court on Thursday (29 June) and has been remanded ahead of a future appearance at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 31 July.
