Man charged in relation to vehicle thefts across in Stoke-on-Trent and beyond

A man has been charged in connection with a number of vehicle thefts across Staffordshire and Cheshire, including Stoke-on-Trent.

Lileikis Edvinas was arrested on Tuesday 16 December and has since been charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.

The 39-year-old of Little Barn Lane, Mansfield, was subsequently remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 15 January.

The charges relate to eight vehicle thefts in Staffordshire and Cheshire between Tuesday 18 November to Tuesday 16 December.

The thefts included two incidents in Stoke-on-Trent.

There were also incidents in Crewe, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Warrington and two in Wilmslow.
