Man charged following stabbing inside Stoke-on-Trent property

A man has been charged after another man was stabbed inside an address in Stoke-on-Trent.

Pavel Hassan, 31, of Burslem, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place.

It comes after emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing inside an address on Waterloo Road at 7pm on Saturday (9 November).

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after suffering wounds to his chest and back. He remains in a stable condition today (Monday 11 November).

Hassan is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Monday 11 November).
