Man charged after car collides with house in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has been charged after a car collided with a house in Stoke-on-Trent last month.

Joseph O'Reilly, 26, of Bentilee, has been charged with two counts of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place, damaging/destroying property with intent to endanger life, possession of a controlled drug of class B (Cannabis), two counts of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, two counts of driving whilst disqualified, three counts of handling stolen goods, and two counts of threats to kill.

This comes after a VW Passat collided with a house on Burrington Drive, Trentham, at 9.15pm on 20 September.

Thankfully, nobody was in the property at the time.

O'Reilly appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday 28 September.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 28 October.
