Man arrested following police incident on A50 in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has been arrested following an incident on the A50 this morning (10 September).

Staffordshire Police were called at around 4.45am to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man on a bridge over the A50 at Heron Cross.

A 38-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance.

The road was closed for around four hours but is now being re-opened.
