Man arrested after wedding dress stolen from Stoke-on-Trent property

A man has been arrested after a wedding dress, medication, ornaments and other items were taken from an address in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to a property near Windmill Hill on 20 February after the homeowner discovered someone had forced their way into a garage and stolen items.

Police say they have found some of the stolen items and are continuing to look for other items (Staffordshire Police).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We have been looking over CCTV, speaking to people in the area and carrying out enquiries as part of our investigation.

"We then searched an address in Stoke-on-Trent and found the ornaments that were taken in the burglary. We've updated the victim and will be carrying on our investigation to try and find the other items.

"A 20-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary."
