Disruption at Stoke-on-Trent station as train lines blocked due to 'incident'

Train lines have now reopened between Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport railway stations after emergency services responded to an incident near Congleton.
Northern Rail passengers were faced with no services operating between Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester Piccadilly this morning and rail replacement buses were set up between Stoke station and Macclesfield, with stops at Kidsgrove and Congleton.
Meanwhile, Avanti West Coast were diverting some services through Stafford and Crewe as well as making cancellations.
National Rail said: "All lines have now reopened between Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport.
"Trains running between these stations may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 90 minutes, revised or diverted and disruption is expected until 12:00."
Current Northern road replacement buses operate as follows:
Departure from Macclesfield calling all stations to Stoke-On-Trent: 1 x Full size bus operated by Bestway departing 10:40.
Departure from Stoke-On-Trent calling all stations to Macclesfield: 1 x Full size bus operated by JKT departing 10:35.
