Longton Exchange Shopping Centre has announced its upcoming initiative to support local families with a back-to-school campaign this summer.
The shopping centre is asking for donations of preloved school uniforms to host a School Uniform Swap, aimed at providing free school uniforms for children in need.
As well as reaching out to local schools, Longton Exchange is urging parents to donate any uniforms to the centre.
A Longton Exchange spokesperson said: "We kindly request everyone's participation in sharing the event - we want to ensure that as many families as possible are aware of the exchange and have the opportunity to donate or receive uniforms."
Donation drop-off points have been established at Kizzy B's, The Salvation Army and the Centre Management Office.
The uniform exchange will take place from August 14-18 and again from August 21-25.
The pop-up shop will be located in the old Shoezone store, where all uniforms will be available free of charge.
Chris Ward, the centre's manager, said: "A massive thank you to the dedicated volunteers of the Little Longton Book Exchange for offering their time to run the school uniform swap shop.
"Looking after the youngest members of our community is essential for securing a bright future.
"Providing enhanced support to families as children return to school is a cause I am deeply passionate about."
