A Stoke-on-Trent SEND charity recently staged their pantomime performance of Snow White and the Indi Seven.
Project Indi, a local grassroots charity in Sneyd Green, took to the stage at the Mitchell Arts Centre, on Sunday 30 November.
The performance, which sold over 300 tickets, raised money which will be used to support the work of the charity who provide day services and activities throughout the year for vulnerable and disabled adults and children in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.
The pantomime also provided a platform for adults with additional needs to experience performing on stage.
Marie, Adults Services Lead for Project Indi, said: "Our members were so excited to be in their first 'professional' pantomime at the Mitchel Arts Centre.
"This has enabled them to live out a dream of being a performer on stage. Learning dance routines, songs and lines has been a wonderful process to witness.
"They have put in a lot of time and effort, and their passion and drive are inspiring.
"The show was a massive success as our members truly are stars."

Natasha, CEO of Project Indi, said: "At Project Indi, we believe that the joy of theatre belongs to everyone.
"Our pantomime, Snow White and the Indi Seven, celebrates creativity, inclusion, and the incredible talents of our members.
"It's not just a show — it's a powerful reminder that as a charity we remove barriers and open doors giving our members and the community the chance to shine on stage."
The show was supported by a number of local organisations.
Project Indi explained that the Angela Beardmore School of Dance, as well as Barkers Fencing, dedicated their time and energy to help make the show, with dancers from Angela Beardmore School of Dance also performing within it.
The performance was also supported by Audley Rotary Club, who donated a sum of £2,500 to cover the production costs and also raised an additional £2,850.66 that will go towards supporting the charity to continue productions like this.
All funds raised have gone to supporting the work of Project Indi, which first began in 2018, as a small social group providing activities for those who required additional support
Project Indi now provides day opportunities and social groups for individuals with additional needs at their inclusive hub, The Indi Club, Sneyd Green.
They offer free school holiday activities, SEND sessions for children and young people, SEND carer and parents' groups, inclusive work placements and community events throughout Stoke-on-Trent and have recently extended their day provisions to vulnerable and disabled adults in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford.
