Lanes closed on A50 following a 'lorry overturning'

Three lanes are closed on a section of the A50 eastbound following "a lorry overturning".

The A50 eastbound between the A500 and the B5490 currently has three lanes closed.

Staffordshire Police attended the scene and recovery and clear up work is taking place.

There are delays of 15 minutes on the A500 north and 25 minutes on A500 south approaching Sideway roundabout.

National Highways said: "The A50 eastbound between A500 (Stoke-on-Trent and the B5490 now has three lanes closed following a lorry overturning.

"Recovery and clear up work is taking place.

"There are delays of 15 minutes on A500 north and 25 minutes on A500 south approaching Sideway roundabout."
