'Hugely successful' Ceramic Makers' Market to return to Stoke-on-Trent this month
The hugely successful Ceramic Makers' Market is making its long-awaited return to Gladstone Pottery Museum, Stoke-on-Trent, this month.
Over 50 local and national ceramicists will be in attendance including former contestants from The Great Pottery Showdown - Jan Morgan, Lucinda Lovesey and Andrew Macbean.
Visitors will be able to browse a wide variety of stalls that will offer bespoke works of art for sale on the day, ranging from traditional works to abstract pieces – all made of clay.
Councillor Jane Ashworth, leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, said: "The first CeramicMakers' Market which we held back in February 2023 was extremely popular, we literally welcomed thousands of enthusiastic visitors to Gladstone.
"This will be the third time we have hosted this free event and I have no doubt it will be just as popular especially with Christmas being just around the corner.
"Next year we are marking our Centenary year, so what better way to start building the excitement than this event which celebrates all things pottery."
The Ceramic Makers' Market takes place at the Gladstone Pottery Museum on Saturday 16 November from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free and advance booking is not required.
