Four pubs in Stoke-on-Trent are taking donations of advent calendars and Christmas selection boxes for charity.

The following pubs are collecting from 14 October to 24 November:

  • The Cat Inn, Keelings Road
  • The New Old Sal, Heathcote Road
  • Travellers Rest, Leek Road
  • The Berwick Inn, Milton Road

All of the boxes and calendars will then be donated to local charities, to ensure that everyone gets a treat in the lead up to Christmas.

Proper Pubs has donated almost 40,000 selection boxes to local charities over the last two years (Admiral Taverns).

If you'd like to donate, you can simply hop in during opening hours and drop off your donation.

There are 20 other pubs across the West Midlands taking part in the scheme - they all form part of the Proper Pubs chain.

Over the past two years, across its estate of more than 200 pubs, Proper Pubs has donated almost 40,000 Christmas selection boxes to local charities through the generosity of its visitors.
