Four people charged in connection with conspiracy to sell Class A drugs in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police has charged three men and a woman, all from Stoke-on-Trent, in connection with conspiracy to sell class A drugs.

On Thursday 6 September, police arrested seven people after a number of simultaneous arrest warrants across the city. 

Craig James, 36, of Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with conspire to supply a class A controlled drug – crack cocaine, conspire to supply a class A controlled drug – heroin, driving whilst disqualified and using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance. 

Shabaz Flaherty, 22, of Dresden, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with conspire to supply a class A controlled drug – heroin, possess an offensive weapon in a private place and common assault of an emergency worker.  

Seven people were arrested last week after police carried out a number of warrants across the city (Staffordshire Police).

Angharad Badkin, 31, of Blurton, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with conspire to supply a class A controlled drug – crack cocaine and conspire to supply a class A controlled drug – heroin. 

Ethan Carter-Richings, 25, of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with conspire to supply a class A controlled drug – heroin. 

They all appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday (8 September). 

A 69-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, all from Stoke-on-Trent, arrested on Thursday have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
