A former doctors surgery in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, could be turned into flats if plans are approved by the city council.

Mr Jabbir, of Five Towns Maintenance, has applied for planning permission to convert 25 Birch Terrace, Hanley, into five self-contained flats.

The building is currently vacant as the doctors surgery closed in 2018.

UPVC windows and doors would be installed as part of the plans (Nub News).

No changes are proposed to the existing car park or the building as it stands, except for the installation of UPVC windows and doors.

The ground floor would have two one-bedroom flats and the first floor would have three, each with a living / kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom.

No consult comments have yet been received and a decision is expected regarding these plans in the coming months.
