Five people have been arrested following the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent. 

Staffordshire Police was called to a home on Park Avenue, Werrington, just after 9pm on Wednesday (26 November). 

A man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Two 31-year-old men, a 29-year-old man, a 22-year-old woman and a boy, all from the Stoke-on-Trent area, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody. 

Staffordshire Police do not believe there is wider threat to the public. 

The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
