Five arrested after police find class A drugs in Stoke-on-Trent homes

Five people have been arrested on suspicion of firearm and drug offences after police searched three houses in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle this morning (14 November).

Officers carried out the warrants at addresses off Sandon Road, Meir, at 7.30am, along with further addresses in Fenton and Keele.

Police found a black box with suspected class A drugs inside, clear wraps of suspected class A drugs, burner phones and digital scales.

Five people have been arrested and will be questioned in custody (Staffordshire Police).

A 19-year-old woman, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

A 17-year-old girl, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to possess a firearm.

A 17-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and a 41-year-old man, all from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

They will be questioned in custody.
