Youth organisations have one week left to apply for funding from the government's Better Youth Spaces fund.
The fund is open for the final round of applications for equipment until 12pm next Thursday (6 November).
Stoke-on-Trent is one of 42 priority areas which could benefit from a portion of the £30.5m of capital grants funded by the Government Department for Culture, Media and Sport to support youthwork across England.
Social Investment Business, the organisation administering the fund, has explained that the Better Youth Spaces fund has approved over 300 applications costing around £12m, with more currently in assessment.
Nick Temple, CEO of Social Investment Business, said: "We are inviting organisations that support young people to apply for funding for vehicles or equipment in this second and final round of Better Youth Spaces funding.
"It will bring swift benefits to youth organisations in England, creating lasting impact for children and young people's wellbeing.
"Funding has already been approved for a range of youth organisations including sports clubs, youth clubs, outdoor and adventure activities, or creative arts services; and we have received some fantastic feedback from services delighted to have got the green light for their projects.
"We don't want any organisations that might be able to apply for funds to miss out as this is the last and final call."
