Feast Festival return to Stoke-on-Trent this week

A popular food festival is returning to Stoke town centre this week with an array of food vendors, pop-up bars and a market open for visitors.
Feast Festival will take place on South Wolfe Street on 20 June between 5pm and 9pm and organiser Cris Cohen is expecting another huge crowd after 1,500 people turned out for the event in May.
The project is supported by the £237k Stoke HAS Pilot Funding for Stoke awarded to The city council to deliver projects aimed at improving the town centre.
Cris said: "Following the buzz of our last event we are turning up the flavour and we are bringing even more of what Stoke-on-Trent loves - great food, great people, and that unbeatable Friday feeling."
"Expect more food vendors, pop-up bars, a bustling market, live performances, and plenty of surprises. Whether you're craving global street eats, handmade treasures or just want to kick back with friends to great music and vibes, Feast Festival will have it all."
Visitors will be able to enjoy tasty bites from vendors such as Big Yum Bao-Bao and dumplings, Stock, Lunar, Scotch City, Woods and Mercia and Staffordhire Poet Laureate Nick Degg is also expected to share a few of his own Stoke related poems on the night.
Cris added: "We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone on 20 June, and there will be so much going on for everyone to enjoy.
"There will be all kinds of tasty treats on offer from burgers and fries, to fresh pizzas, scotch eggs and Caribbean dishes.
"We also cannot wait for Nick Degg to join us again and share some of his work with visitors in the town. It really is going to be a huge celebratory event and one in which we will also be celebrating our City's 100 years - come and join us."
