A shop in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, is to remain permanently closed following a fire in May 2024.

A fire tore through Farmfoods, Moorland Road, on Thursday 23 May and a man was charged with arson with intent to endanger life and theft from a shop.

Stoke Nub News contacted the store for an update this week and although no official statement has been issued, a spokesperson told us: "Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that our Burslem shop will remain permanently closed due to the scale of the damaged caused."

Farmfoods on Leek Road and Edensor Road remain open as usual.
