A brand-new shop is set to open next week which will showcase the work of over 60 Stoke-on-Trent makers and artists.
Keep It Local will open its first permanent store in Longton Exchange Shopping Centre on 9 September.
The popular business has (so far) exclusively done pop-up events in local shopping centres, such as The Potteries Centre in Hanley.
Owner, Andy Nixon, told Stoke Nub News: "Our first pop-up event was in The Potteries Centre last November and that came from talking to local makers and markets and we thought that we could bring all this together under one roof.
"It was so well received in Hanley that we thought that it was worth doing full-time.
"I noticed how good the footfall was in Longton compared with other places we have been and we thought that our business would fit really well with the new Arts and Cultural Quarter - I don't think Longton has had a shop like this before.
"Now, we have around 68 independent makers showcased in our shop, and we're very lucky to have a waiting list of people who want us to sell their work."
The shop will sell a whole range of products, from t-shirts and keyrings to celebration cards and flasks.
Andy continued: "There will be something for everyone and for every budget whether that is a couple of pounds or a couple of hundred - there will always be something for everyone and it's all made locally and perfected over many years in some cases.
"It's brilliant to be able to shout about the wonderful creative people that we have in this area."
As well as the Longton shop opening, Keep It Local also have pop-up events happening October 7th - 27th at Affinity Staffordshire and November 14 to December 24 at The Potteries Centre.
