Body found inside Hanley building following huge fire

Staffordshire Police have confirmed that a body has been found inside a building on Brockley Square, Hanley, following a huge blaze this week.

A spokesperson said: "A post-mortem will be held in due course to establish the cause of death and we are working to identify the deceased. 

"We are liaising closely with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service to understand the cause of the fire."
