"A number of" former Royal Stafford workers will be offered jobs after the company's plant in Burslem and machinery were brought by a former customer.

Royal Stafford collapsed last month with the loss of more than 70 jobs but it is not yet known how many workers will be offered a position at the site under the new ownership.

TG Green & Co Limited will be using the site in Burselm to manufacture its Cornishware products which were previously produced by Royal Stafford.

The update was shared by Moore Recovery which has been managing the liquidation of Royal Stafford. The statement says the sale will provide "in the short term," ongoing occupancy of the former trading site.

A spokesperson for Moore Recovery Limited said: "Following their appointment as Joint Liquidators on 25 February 2025 of RST Limited t/a Royal Stafford, Mustafa Abdulali and Neil Dingley of Moore Recovery have completed a sale of the Company's plant and machinery to a former customer TG Green & Co Limited.

"The sale concludes a period of high interest from various interested parties and has been negotiated with assistance from John Pye. Bowcock Cuerden LLP have dealt with the legal completion documents.

"The sale is also resulting in employment for a number of former Royal Stafford workers and will, in the short term, provide ongoing occupancy of the former trading site in the heart of Burslem.

"TG Green & Co Limited will be using the site to manufacture their popular Cornishware products which were previously produced by RST Limited.

"The Joint Liquidators have retained the finished stock which is currently for sale via John Pye."
