Powerleague Stoke Excel to launch new football leagues - here's how to get involved
Powerleague Stoke Excel will be hosting two new men's football leagues on Wednesday and Monday evenings - with a special offer for Stoke Nub News readers.
The seven-a-side league starts on Monday 24 March with teams able to bring up to ten players and the five-a-side league will begin on Wednesday 30 April and teams can bring up to eight players.
For both leagues, there will be kick-off times at 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm, trophies for the winning team and a celebratory photo for the team that wins the league.
Powerleague Stoke Excel's Tom Davies said: "It's a great atmosphere, the teams in our leagues get to know each other well and although it's competitive it's a good laugh and everyone enjoys it.
"As well the referees have a good laugh with the teams so it's a really positive environment and a great way to get together on a weekly basis."
The seven-a-side Monday league starts at £45 per team and the five-a-side Wednesday league starts at £37.50 per team and if you quote 'Nub News' when booking you will receive 50% off your first game.

Powerleague Stoke Excel, on Milton Road, boasts eight five-a-side pitches and a popular eleven-a-side pitch, which can also be used as two nine-a-sides or four seven-a-sides.
Tom added: "One week you're up against a mixture of people, one week could be older or younger so it's a good mix and it's anyone's game.
"The teams are competing for trophies, there are personal winner's trophies and the winning team gets their photo taken as the league winners.
"We also do monthly tournaments in between the leagues so there is more to this than just coming down and enjoying a five-a-side or seven-a-side match there's also lots more to get involved in too."
