Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) has announced the dates for its first on-campus Open Events of the academic year.

The Ofsted Outstanding college group will be welcoming prospective students and their families through the doors to give them an insight to studying at NSCG.

Visitors will be able to explore the campuses, take in the college's top class facilities and chat to staff about their course options.

NSCG's principal Craig Hodgson will be delivering a range of welcome talks and guests will also be able to hear from the college's student support team and current students to find out what life is really like at NSCG.

Newcastle College: Thursday 9 October, from 5.30pm–8.00pm.

Stafford College: Thursday 23 October, from 5.30pm–8.00pm.

Leek College: Thursday 20 November, from 5.30pm–8.00pm.

Craig Hodgson, principal and chief executive at NSCG, said: "At NSCG, we're proud of our reputation for delivering high-quality education and training. Our upcoming open events are the perfect opportunity for future students to experience this first-hand.

"As Staffordshire's largest and most successful Further Education provider, we're excited to welcome visitors to our campuses and showcase what makes life at NSCG so special."

Across NSCG's three campuses, learners can access a wide range of post-16 qualifications. This includes A Levels (at Newcastle College and Stafford College), as well as T Levels, vocational courses and apprenticeships. Higher Education and part-time adult learning courses are also available across a variety of subject areas.

Wednesday 12th November, 5:30pm-8pm

Saturday 24th January, 10am-12pm

Saturday 25th April, 10am-12pm

Wednesday 26th November, 5:30-8pm

Saturday 9th May, 10am-12pm

Leek College

Thursday 12th February 2026, 5:30pm-8pm

Saturday 21st March 2026, 10am-12pm

Saturday 20th June 2026, 10am-12pm
