QHSE Assistant Stoke-on-Trent Monday to Friday, 8.00am-4.30pm From 35,000 per annum
We are looking for a QHSE Assistant to support the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental functions within our busy manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in QHSE, who is looking to develop further and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance of ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001 accreditations
- Assist in performing quality checks and audits on production processes
- Help monitor staff compliance with internal procedures and ways of working
- Assist in investigating nonconformities and implementing corrective actions
- Contribute to process improvement activities and initiatives
- Support in the creation and review of risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Assist with accident and near miss reporting, including RIDDOR submissions where required
- Work closely with the QHSE Manager and production teams to ensure high standards are maintained
Key Requirements:
- NEBOSH qualification
- Experience supporting quality and health & safety in construction or manufacturing environments
- Understanding of ISO standards and auditing processes
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Proactive approach to promoting health and safety in the workplace
