As the Nights Chargehand, you will ensure all employees are wearing their PPE whilst in working areas Ensure the work on the production schedule is cleared within the normal shift hours As the Nights Galvanising Chargehand, you will mentor inexperienced employees Ensure the working area is free from clutter and that safe systems of work are being followed As the Nights Chargehand, you will advise onthe appropriate safe method of unloading materials Reporting any problems or accidents to senior management As the Nights Galvanising Chargehand, you will supervise the loading of zinc / other alloys into the bath Ensure coating plant employees use appropriate lifting aids where applicable As the Nights Chargehand, you will ensure employees working at height are tethered whilst working on the booth Problem-solving if issues arise with capacity/breakdowns
