We're recruiting on behalf of a Mainframe Services Provider who are looking for a z/OS System Programmer to support the migration, installation, maintenance, and performance of IBM z/OS environments.

As a z/OS System Programmer, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing and maintaining z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, RACF
  • Manage system patches, upgrades, and tuning
  • Troubleshoot complex mainframe issues
  • Collaborate on integrations and deployments
  • Ensure security and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrate z/OS system programming experience

Proven skills and experience to help you succeed in this role:

  • Previous experience working as a z/OS System Programmer
  • Experience with ISV tools (Broadcom, BMC, etc.)
