Our Data & Insight team our looking for a SQL Data Engineer to join them in this new position.Within this role you will be interrogating claims databases and application of visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI, providing data reports, dashboard and insights to our clients, internal customers, and the wider Claims market.Location: Hybrid, need to be within close proximity to either our Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5) or Taunton (TA1) office.Salary: £23,000pa - £27,000pa DOEWorking pattern: 37.5 hour per week.What you will be doing:•Production and distribution of reports and dashboards to our clients within service level agreements.•Production and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI dashboards•Contribute to the development of Claims Consortium Group's data strategy.•Analysis of produced data to provide actionable insights•Provide support to our business and clients to assist in the interpretation of reports, dashboards, and insights.•Interrogation of data warehousing and databases using SQL language.What we need from you:Experience of dealing with data within a growing organisation.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Being able to learn, adapt and work within in a fast-paced environment.Recently completed math, science, or data-based degree desirable.Strong IT skills with experience using Microsoft 365 package.Experience transforming data and creating visualisations with Microsoft Power BIStrong SQL skillsUnderstanding how an ETL process works.Desirable - experience in coding in Python language.Don't think you meet all the skills and qualifications listed?
