We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a full-time role (5 days a week) with an immediate start.As a PE Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive physical education lessons to female students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare and deliver Functional skills sessions for Maths, English and Digital Skills through in-centre programmes, by attending their workplaces and also through online courses Conduct assessments to produce Individualised Learning Plans and then monitor the learner's progress through regular reviews to ensure achievements are being met Create teaching resources, including lesson plans, assignments and assessments for individual learners Ensure the teaching aligns with NOCN standards and support with regular SPAG checks Identify additional learning requirements Ensure compliance in all areas Monitor performance against KPIs to support learner progress Keep up to date with developments in Functional Skills and relevant national awards Collaborate effectively with Training Officers, employers and other key stakeholders to monitor and support learner progression Actively participate in Ofsted inspections, awarding body quality visits, and DfE audits when required Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion across all learning environments. Support the development of new qualifications and learning programmes, such as Digital Skills, by contributing to the design of schemes of work and teaching resources.
