I am looking for a Building Surveyor to join a social housing and support services company that operate in and around the North Staffordshire region. The main role will be supporting their Responsive Repairs and maintenance teams, carrying out 6 surveys a day. The Building Surveyor will benefit from a 2k car allowance and hybrid working.Benefits of this role:

- To carry out in-depth surveys to properties, including diagnosing complex faults and failures, undertaking appropriate inspections as required across voids and responsive repairs
- Inspect, measure, and schedule works issued including, pre-inspections and preparation of diagrams or drawings necessary to undertake the work
- To prepare detailed specifications including Nat fed 8 rates, including the overseeing of contractors delivery of works, whilst managing quality, value for money, and progress, all in line with contract terms and customer expectations
- Complete inspections and surveys you will carry out Damp Mould and Condensation Inspections and provide solutions that align with ombudsman recommendations (AWAABs Law)
- 2 years of post-qualification experience within a social housing maintenance surveyor role and across core trades
- Experience using SOR's
- Social Housing experience
- Must be able to write up remedial actions within all reports
- HND/ HNC and health and safety qualifications
