The Opportunity
We are excited to be recruiting an Occupational Technician (OHT) role to meet the growing demands of our department.
This position is crucial in supporting our comprehensive health surveillance programs, including skin assessments, spirometry, safety-critical medicals, and more, utilizing the Orchid Live OH database.
As an Occupational Technician, you will perform clinical tasks such as venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, pulse checks, height and weight measurements, BMI calculations, urinalysis, visual acuity, and colour vision testing, all under the supervision of the Head of the Occupational Health Department.
Additionally, you will ensure accurate documentation and effective use of IT systems, handle administrative duties like sending out questionnaires and scheduling appointments, and assist nurses in interpreting health surveillance data.

Please note that the starting salary will typically be at the bottom of the pay scale.
