Tales in the Park: free family storytelling festivals

This summer, the National Literacy Trust is returning to Stoke-on-Trent's parks with a series of free family storytelling festivals!

Families will be treated to storytelling from local performers, draw-alongs, facepainting, crafts, pop-up sports, a bouncy castle, and more. All children will be gifted a free book to take home and enjoy, kindly gifted by HarperCollins*.

Join us from 11am - 3pm at:

  • Tunstall Park, Tuesday 30 July
  • Longton Park, Friday 2 August
  • Yeaman Street Rec, Tuesday 6 August
  • Burslem Park, Friday 9 August
  • Fenton Park, Tuesday 13 August
  • Hanley Park, Friday 16 August

Great for families with children aged 0-11, these events make the perfect free, accessible, day out to enjoy together.

[*] Free books available one per child and while stocks last. Activities and organisations in attendance may vary between events.
