Police are appealing for information following a number of reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Blythe Bridge.

Officers have received separate reports of young people causing disruption and distress amongst residents and businesses in the area.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "At around 4pm on Friday 29 March, a group of boys and girls, described as being around 11 or 12-years-old, refused to leave a hair salon and were reportedly climbing on roofs and being aggressive with staff in the area.

Police are continuing to patrol the area and carrying out enquiries to find out who is responsible (Staffordshire Police).

"A separate report on Saturday 30 March involved a group of youths, roughly between 16 and 18-years-old, knocking over wheelie bins on Wesley Street.

"Other behaviour that has been reported includes damaging road signs and trespassing."

Officers are continuing to patrol the area, carrying out enquiries to find out who is responsible and take action against those causing alarm in the community.
