Woman arrested on suspicion of murder after man dies in Stoke hospital

A man found with injuries in Blurton this week has sadly died in hospital.

A 30-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent on Thursday was further arrested on suspicion of murder last night.

She has been released on conditional bail while officers continue to investigate.

Officers were called at 3.40pm on Thursday to reports of concern for a man at a property on Garside Crescent, Blurton.

Staffordshire Police are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch.
