Stand Up Comedy | Biddulph Town Hall | Sat 4 Apr

Social Connective CIC will be bringing Stand Up to Biddulph Town Hall on Saturday 4 April with a line-up including Steve Royle - finalist on Britain's Got Talent.

The organisers said: "Expect top-quality stand-up, a brilliant atmosphere, and another unforgettable night of live comedy right here in Biddulph.

"If you've been before, you know the score. If you haven't — this is the perfect one to start with. "

Tickets are available online and cost £10.84 (including booking fees). Admission is over 18 only.

Potteries Artisan Easter Special | Hanley | Sat 8 Apr

The Potteries Artisan Market will return this Easter weekend with stalls selling homemade gifts, homewares, sweet treats and more.

The market will take place at Upper Market Square & Fountain Square from 10am to 4pm.

The organisers said: "The Potteries Artisan Market is back this Easter for a cracking day of creativity, community and family fun — right by the Big Blue Clock in Hanley! 

"In collaboration with Stoke BID's egg-cellent Easter celebrations, we're bringing you a market packed with local talent and plenty to keep the whole family smiling"

Kayte Tilstone Book Signing | Vellichor Books | Hanley | Sat 4 Apr

Local horror author, Kayte Tilstone, will be at Vellichor Books on Saturday 4 April for a book signing event.

Vellichor Books said: "Local author of extreme horror Kayte Tilstone joins us, in the flesh, on the 4th April at 12pm - 3pm.

"Come get some signed copies of these blood curdling reads, that are sure to keep you up at night, and make you afraid to go out in the day."

Royal Opera Screenings: Siegfried | Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Sun 5 Apr

Royal Opera screenings at The Mitchell Arts Centre will return on Sunday 5 April with Siegfried.

The organisers said: "Raised by a scheming dwarf and unaware of his true family origins, a young man embarks on an epic journey.

"Soon, destiny brings him face-to-face with a shattered sword, a fearsome dragon and the cursed ring it guards, and a Valkyrie forced into enchanted slumber..."

The running time is estimated at 330 minutes. The opera will be sung in German with subtitles and is certificated 15 'As Live'.

Unicorn Live! | Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Mon 6 Apr

The Unicorn Live! show is heading to the Mitchell Arts Centre on bank holiday Monday.

The Mitchell Arts Centre said: "Harmony, Melody and Starlight are the best of unicorn friends…

"Join them as they use their magical unicorn powers to save the show and conjure up the magical fourth band member.

"Watch in amazement as they use the power of song and dance to create the band, Unicorn Live!

"Featuring your favourite pop and musical theatre songs, dazzling costumes, and a real unicorn called Sparkle. This show is like no other and will be sure to entertain children of all ages."

Showings are 1pm and 3.30pm with tickets available to book online for £15.50 (including booking fee).
