National Theatre Live: All My Sons | Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Thur 16 Apr

The Mitchell Arts Centre will be showing All My Sons as it is filmed live from the West End at an upcoming National Theatre Live event on Thursday 16 April.

The Mitchell Arts Centre said: "Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths) feature in a five-star, triumphantly acclaimed new production of Arthur Miller's classic play, from visionary director Ivo Van Hove (A View from the Bridge)."

The running time will be around 130 minutes and the BBFC certificate is 15.

Tickets are available online: adult £17.50, child/student £12.00 and concession £14.75.

Repair Cafe | Biddulph Town Hall | Sat 18 Apr

Social Connective CIC will be hosting the next repair cafe at Biddulph Town Hall from 10am to 2pm.

The organisers said: "Biddulph's Repair Café where you can bring your items to be repaired for free, including electricals, textiles, and household (excluding appliances, watches, clocks and smart devices) 

"Amelia's Pop Up Café serving a tasty selection of cakes, baked goods and hot and cold drinks."

Anyone interested in volunteering as a 'repairer' can get in touch via the Social Connective CIC page or over email at [email protected]

Daytime Disco | Kings Hall | Stoke | Sat 18 Apr

Disco Bliss will be hosting a daytime disco for over 18s at Kings Hall on Saturday 18 April.

There will be entry from 1pm and music from 3pm to 6pm.

Castle Artisan Market | Newcastle-under-Lyme | Sun 19 Apr

The Castle Artisan Market will take place on Sunday 19 April at The Stones in Newcastle-under-Lyme from 10am to 3pm.

There will be handcrafted gifts, art and homewares alongside street food and sweet treats.

The organisers said: "Castle Artisan Market is back this April, bringing a fresh burst of colour, creativity and community spirit to The Stones 

"As the days get lighter and the flowers start to bloom, there's no better way to spend your Sunday than browsing a handpicked line-up of incredible local makers, bakers and creators."
