There's plenty to get up to in and around Stoke-on-Trent this weekend.

Potteries Folk Club | Fenton Town Hall | Fri 9 Jan

Potteries Folk Club presents a double-Header with the Summer Showcases winners: KC JONES and Pelican Babies this Friday at Fenton Town Hall. 

Potteries Folk Club said: "The winners of our summer showcases 2025 will be coming back for a double header night to the Potteries Folk Club!"

Doors open 7:15pm for a 7:45pm start.

Tickets are available for £12.

Climate Cafe | Stoke | Sat 10 Jan

B.Arts' climate cafe will return this Saturday from 10am to 3pm at 72 Hartshill Road, Stoke.

The theme for January is 'Into the New - preparing for change'.

The event will feature a range of activities including a clothes, toys and book swap; make your own cleaning products; weaving with The Happy Makers; Shadow puppet boxes and more.

B.Arts said: "The Climate Cafe is an open, inclusive space for people of all ages who want to start to discuss or already have ideas around climate justice."

There is also a rolling Open Call Out to run an activity at the monthly Climate Cafe.

Big Joe Bone | Artisan Tap | Stoke | Fri 9 Jan

There will be live music from Big Joe Bone at the Artisan Tap on Hartshill Road this Saturday.

The organisers said: "Big Joe Bone is a UK based delta blues and roots musician who stamps, shouts and plays acoustic slide guitar, banjo and harmonica."

Tickets are available online for £5.50
