The January blues are upon us but don't worry - there are plenty of events in Stoke to keep you entertained this weekend.

Friday 6 January - The Bryan Adams Experience live

Europe's number one Bryan Adams tribute is coming to Stoke-on-Trent.

Under 18s are welcome if supervised by a parent. 

Tickets are £10.

Friday 6 January - Hallé Orchestra

The Hallé Orchestra will be performing at Victoria Hall this Friday. 

Founded by the pianist and conductor Sir Charles Hallé in 1858, The Hallé is the UK's oldest working orchestra (and the fourth oldest in the world). The Orchestra ranks among the UK's top symphonic ensembles. Led by Sir Mark Elder, The Hallé is the resident orchestra of Bridgewater Hall.

Saturday 7 January - Saturday Kids Club 

Blythe Bridge Library are hosting a Saturday Kids Club on the first Saturday of every month, 10.30am-12pm. 

Each month there will be a different theme including crafts and activities.

Children under 8 must be supervised by an adult.

It costs £2 per child and places can be booked via this link.

Saturday 7 January - Football training sessions

Stoke City Community Trust are offering football sessions to young aspiring footballers between the ages of 3 and 6.

It costs £3.50 per session and takes place every Saturday at Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy.

Sunday 8 January - Family Film Club

This week's film at The Mitchell Arts Centre's family film club is Angry Birds The Movie.

Tickets are £3.50 per child and one adult goes free per paying child.
