Staffordshire Police have released a number of CCTV stills following a suspected attempted burglary at a home in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to an address on Fegg Hayes Road at around 7pm on 3 December after four men were spotted trying to force entry into the back of a house.

They used a mallet to smash the window of a rear patio but ran away after being disturbed.

All of them had their faces covered and were wearing hats or hoods over their heads.

Anyone with any information which can help police identify these men are being asked to contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident 680 of 3 December.
