An Evening with Steve Joughin

Steve Joughin will be speaking at PAU Cafe, in Trentham Shopping Village, this Saturday (PAU Cafe).

Steve Joughin, the first Manxman to win the British professional road race title, will be at PAU Cafe on Saturday 13 January.

Steve will be sharing stories from his impressive cycling career, giving the opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, delve into the sport's rich history, and gain a deeper understanding of the road to victory.

Stoke Film Club - 47 Ronin

47 Ronin will be shown at Potteries Museum & Art Gallery on Friday 12 January (Potteries Museum).

The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, in Hanley, will be showing the 2013 film, 47 Ronin, starring Keanu Reeves, on its big screen on Friday 12 January.

Refreshments from 6pm and during the interval, film starts at 7pm.

Sing-a-Long-a Matilda 

Matilda, the film, will be shown at The Regent Theatre, Hanley, on Sunday 14 January (Nub News).

Children and parents are invited to Sing-a-Long-a's showing of Matilda at The Regent Theatre on Sunday 14 January.

Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full audience participation is essential although please note, this is a screening of the film not a live stage show.

  • There is a wedding fayre taking place at Double Tree by Hilton on Sunday 14 January. Entry is completely free and 45 exhibitors will be in attendance.
  • Gladstone Pottery Museum is offering a connoisseur guided tour on Saturday 13 January.
