Pop-up Mini Cini at Goods Yard

The abandoned Signal Box on Glebe Street has been closed for 30 years (Sarah Garner).

Capital&Centric and Stoke-on-Trent City Council are opening the doors to the abandoned Signal Box for the first time in 30 years, with two nights of our pop-up mini cini.

Tickets are £7 and include a drink and popcorn. Every penny from ticket sales will go to The Macari Foundation, a local charity helping to end homeslessness in Stoke-on-Trent.

Marvellous - Friday 17th March

The wholesome true story of local legend Neil Baldwin who started out as circus clown, before becoming the kit man at Stoke City FC and being named 'the best signing ever made' by then manager Lou Macari.

The Conjuring - Saturday 18th March

Join us for a spooky evening with paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed as they work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their secluded farmhouse and uncover its macabre history.

Steven Vinacour at Gladstone Pottery Museum

This event takes place at Gladstone Pottery Museum, Longton (Gladstone Pottery Museum).

On Saturday 18 March we will welcome children's author Steven Vinacour to the museum to celebrate the launch of his new book 'Oh No, Pharaoh' in our 'Flushed with Pride' Gallery. 

Along with his famous time-travelling toilet, Steven will be hosting a series of readings, signings and writing workshops suitable for all ages! 

Sessions with Steven run throughout the day at 11.30am, 1pm and 2pm. 

This is a free event but normal museum entry fee applies.

Mother's Day Breakfast at The New Florence

Booking is essential for this event (The New Florence).

Bring Mum along to enjoy a delicious breakfast plus make some special gifts with our FREE arts & crafts!
