Stoke Square Saturday Series: Covent Garden-Stoke Style!
Outside Stoke Library | Sat 22 Feb | 11am-4pm

The third of the Stoke Square Saturday Series - a new monthly event taking place on the pedestrianised area between Stoke Library and Stoke Market.
This month organisers invite you to 'roll up' for a mini street performance festival. Drop in throughout the day to see a range of weird and wonderful performances plus have a go activities from puppetry to juggling.
Funderworld
Hanley, Lichfield Street |Until Sun 23 Feb | 12 noon-9pm

Funderworld remains open over the weekend. Thrill seekers can expect the Crazy Mouse, a full-size rollercoaster, several "extreme white-knuckle" rides including Airmaxx which is said to be the "fastest" ride travelling in the UK.
Entry to the site is free and the rides and attractions accessed through a 4-hour unlimited riding wristband or "Pay as you go" Ride Tokens which can be brought at the venue.
Fun family workshops with artist Victoria Smart
Potteries Museum & Art Gallery | Sat 21 Feb | 11:30am-3pm
Get creative designing your own paper dinnerware in this hands-on family workshop in Stoke-on-Trent. Led by artist Victoria Smart, you'll learn printmaking skills and create personalised stamps, logos, and patterns.
Alternatively, get creative with collaging and use your imagination-and a lot of glue-to create a perfect room for yourself, full of your favourite things.
This workshop is recommended for children aged 5-12. There's no need to book, just drop in on the day between 11:30am-3pm. This workshop is £3 per child, payable at the door.
Friday Twilight – 'Moon drop to France'
Potteries Museum & Art Gallery | Fri 21 Feb | 7pm-9pm
Hear the incredible story of women who went behind enemy lines in World War Two as secret agents, to work as couriers and wireless operators, working undercover and in complete secrecy they risked arrest and interrogation every single day.
This dramatic portrayal of a Special Operations Executive (SOE) agent is brought to you by History's Maid.
After the performance, enjoy a chance to learn about the equipment and weapons that SOE used from Dr Kate Vigurs, renowned SOE historian– they are enough to make Bond's Q a little jealous!
