Two men in court after £125k of drugs uncovered in Stoke-on-Trent

Two men are due in court today after Staffordshire Police seized more than £125,000-worth of drugs and £25,000 cash.

Officers from the major organised crime team raided two homes in Basford and Hanley on Monday (7 July).

Police found 'a large amount' of heroin, crack, MDMA, cocaine and cannabis, along with £25,000 in cash.

Lamin Jallow, 45, of West Lothian, Scotland, has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

Peter Nwankwo, 49, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

Both men are due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (9 July)
